1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. clear vanilla extract
4 cups powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. milk

  • Mix shortening and butter. Add vanilla.
  • Gradually add sugar, beating well on medium speed, scraping sides of bowl.
  • Add milk and mix until light and fluffy.
