Dough:

2 cups flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter, softened
¾ cup milk

  • Mix dried ingredients in mixing bowl
  • Cut in butter
  • Stir in milk to form a soft dough
  • Roll out to 12” square

Filling:

4 Tbsp. butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon

  • Combine all ingredients
  • (optional) Drizzle some filling in the bottom of pan
  • Spread filling on dough and roll tightly
  • Cut into 12-16 slices
  • Place in pan and bake for 20-25 minutes at 400°F

Icing:

½ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup milk

  • Add milk a little at a time, constantly stirring until a thick icing forms

2015-09-07 08:41:08: A comment suggested some interesting modifications:

  • Don’t bother sprinkling any filling on bottom of the pan
  • Cut them thick because they won’t rise much
  • Bake at 300°F to make the dough gooier
  • Bake in spring-form pan to make it easier to get them out
  • Pour melted butter over the rolls after removing from the oven
