2 1/4 tsp yeast
1/4 cup warm water (110°F)
1 Tbsp sugar

  • Combine in stand mixer bowl and set aside.

1 1/4 cups milk
1/3 cup butter
3 Tbsp sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
5 cups flour

  • Heat milk and butter until butter is melted.  Cool in an ice bath until temperature falls to 110°F.
  • Combine with remaining ingredients into stand mixer bowl, and mix with dough hook on low speed until it forms a sticky dough.  Continue processing on low speed for 5 minutes.
  • Remove to floured surface and knead a half-dozen times
  • Put dough in buttered bowl, turning over to coat all sides.  Cover with a wet towel and let rise in a warm place.

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • Melt butter and pour into a small bowl
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a second bowl.
  • Punch down dough and tear off 1” balls.
  • Roll in butter, then in cinnamon sugar, and put in bundt pan.

1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla

  • Melt butter and mix in brown sugar and vanilla.
  • Drizzle over the dough balls in the bundt pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
  • Cool for 5 minutes then invert on serving dish.
