1 cup apple cider
1/2 cup olive oil
2 eggs
doughnut mix (or 1 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. allspice)

  • brush doughnut pan with oil
  • mix wet ingredients in a medium bowl, then mix in dry mix
  • spoon batter into doughnut pan
  • bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool

3 Tbsp. melted butter
cinnamon sugar

  • dip each doughnut in butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar

makes approx. 12 doughnuts
