1500 Cal (4x 375)

1 2/3 cups warm water (100-110F)
1 1/4 tsp. dry yeast
2 tsp. honey
2 Tbsp. olive oil
3 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt

  • Combine water, yeast, honey and olive oil in mixer with dough hook.
  • When yeast is dissolved, add 2 1/2 cups of flour and salt.
  • Mix on medium-low speed, adding remaining flour to make a soft dough.
  • Mix for 10 minutes, adding flour as needed to prevent sticking to side of bowl.
  • Turn dough onto floured board and knead by hand a dozen times.
  • Place dough in oiled bowl and turn over. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  • Divide dough into four pieces. Press and stretch each piece into 8” circle.
  • Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and cover with a damp towel. Allow to rest for 10 minutes.
  • Top and bake 10-15 minutes at 500F, until crusts are crisp and cheese begin to brown.
