1750 Cal (10x 175)

2½ cups flour
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp baking powder
⅓ cup shortening
1 cup hot water

  • Mix dry ingredients, then cut in shortening with pastry blender.
  • Add water slowly until dough forms.
  • Knead dough and divide into 10 pieces and roll with palm of hand
  • Cover with wet towel and rest 30 minutes.
  • Roll out each tortilla to about 10” circle
  • Grill on hot dry pan, flipping twice, about 1 minute total
