1 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. salt
2 tsp. black pepper

  • mix all ingredients and pour over brisket in large plastic bag
  • squeeze out all air and refrigerate overnight
  • discard liquid, pat brisket dry, and apply rub before smoking
