refrigerator pickled jalapenos
other | pickles4 medium jalapeños (about 8 ounces total)
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. to 1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. to 1 tbsp. sugar (optional)
- slice jalapenos and fill 16-20 oz. jar
- add vinegar and water, topping up with vinegar to cover the jalapenos
- add salt and sugar
- tighten lid and shake to thoroughly mix salt and sugar into liquid
- refrigerate 8 hours, and keep refrigerated
