5 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
¾ cup chicken broth
¾ cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
3 cans green beans, drained
1 pkg. fried onions

  • Melt butter, add flour and mix well.
  • Cook for a minute, then slowly mix in broth and milk.
  • Bring to a boil, whisking constantly until thickened.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add beans and mix well.
  • Transfer to baking dish, top with onions, and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
