dutch oven bread
sides | bread vegetarian3¼ cups flour
2 tsp. yeast
2 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. sugar
1½ cups lukewarm water
- combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix until flour is incorporated into the dough
- cover with a damp towel and let rise at room temperature for 2 hours until doubled
- chill until ready to bake
- shape dough into a ball, and rest on parchment paper for 45-90 minutes
- place dutch oven in oven and heat to 450°F
- score dough, spritz with water, and transfer with parchment paper into the pre-heated dutch oven
- cover and bake for 30 minutes, then remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes
